Vibes- I'm a complete bell end

So, I was about to go Vibe hunting, and today, when messing around with the Gassage amp rig it dawned on me that I have a vibrato channel on one of the amps (princeton).

So I managed to snyc there or thereabouts the Vibrato speed with my chorus pedal sweep, rolled off a little intensity (4 and 4 roughtly on the princeton) and yes, there it is- lovely clear, chimey vibe, much nicer than any pedal version I've heard.

Took a little getting used to and there's not quite the compresson vibe tone that you get off a photcell vibe but hell, it does the trick....so I carried on and then I cranked the Princeton a little and mixed it so it was working with the Hiwatt together and now it sounds fabby. And unusual too.

Tremolo on the amp though? I'm sure the combo of chorus and tremolo sounds cool of course.

Yeah effectively- but the compromise is a good 'un considering I use the vibe for one song.....flanger will cover everything else. Job's a good 'un.

I think that it's one of those where both the prosecution and defence agree that the evidence is irrefutable.
