Entry submitted, I think I've covered sufficient number of 80s clichés, and I even got round to scrawling my god awful vocals all over it

Just checking, is it ok to use royalty free samples on this challenge? like these

I do have 12 tracks of music created by me in the Reaper project so far but just want to add a vocal hook and I sing like George Formby which doesn't really suit the 80's.

Why did my brain compute two and a half minutes as 2 mins 50 secs. I am a complete fool!!

Need to go back and shave off 20 secs.

I had another session on the computer and my track is taking shape - I have an arrangement that comes in just under 2'30". I've got most of the parts worked out (except for 16 bars of bass). So I should be able to start recording 'takes' soon.

I'm not sure how '80s' it is going to turn out - my stuff always just ends up sounding like me. At least it's sounding like me in the 80s, though.
