Idly thinking possibly a couple of years ahead... PRRI

Those who have experience of both the DRRI and PRRI - at clean home volume levels, does the Princeton basically behave like a slightly smaller Deluxe? The Deluxe has really low noise levels and a stunning reverb, I was just thinking it would be great to have that but in a slightly smaller, lighter format.

At low volume levels, yes - not identical but definitely close. They start to sound more different as you push them harder.

  • So long as the PRRI isn't noticeably hissy/hummy, or has a shallow and/or crashily bright reverb, really.
