Some light scratching and no box. Unfortunately I don't have the mounting screws and springs for this one. The braid has been trimmed a good few inches shorted than the rest of the cable, there is just shy of 22cm of the braid available.

  • Is the lead itself full length still so is it just the braid that you have shortened?

    Thanks

The lead is just over 12 inches in length.

The braid was like that when I bought it second-hand. I've just never got around to putting it in anything. I seem to recall the guy that sold it to me said it came out of an USA Jackson.

I've checked on mine and whilst the cable will reach the braid looks like it might be a smidge too short.

Ahh ok thanks for checking it and being honest about it, would there be any problems with the braid being short?

    Thanks :)

If the braid is too short you might not be able to earth it on the back of the pot. I could solder some additional braid onto it. It's relatively cheap and easily available at Maplins.
