Anyone tried Harley Benton coated strings?

What's Hot
As to be expected with Thomann/Harley Benton these are crazy prices but are they any good?

Tried the plain nickel steel ones, they are fantastic. Outlasted my usual Ernie balls. About £2.30 a set too. Coated ones will be just as good I imagine. In fact, I've not had a bad Harley Benton product yet.

Now that is very interesting indeed.

Very well priced they are too.

The diagram on the back of the pack appears to show the winding is coated (a la D'Addario EXP) as opposed to the finished string "dipped"; however "anti-rust" is a term used by Elixir for their unwound strings.

    So, who makes them then?

Who coats them, and in what are they coated?

My chats with Harley are starting to feel very one sided.

In fact....to be honest with you I am starting to think there is no such person. :-S    Nobody can build that many guitars or coat that many strings (even with a creosote brush).

I found that they added more meat to my tone
