New Roland Cube

What's Hot

I think this sounds pretty good for a £95 quid amp.

I'm a big fan of my microcube but I might check this out.

  • Reminds me of loading programs into my ZX81. Do they do a retro version on cassette?

I actually quite like the cubes, might give one a try.

There are so many much more betterer amps in the SS domain than bloody Cubes... with propper Speakers!

I got the 40w version...they have a lot of functionality and they sound good...i loved it to start with but fell out of love with it after a little while...just didnt gel with the base tone.

But then again, @Antique_guitars plays it everytime we jam at mine, and he likes it...so i guess its just personal taste.

  • Yeah I think it's pretty good and versatile, I prefer a valve sound myself but it's cool.

I never thought a video for a Roland cube could lead to impure thoughts but.....

Man I know... I hate the whole "ungggg hot girl playing guitar thing" which seems to plague every youtube video with a girl in a band. However, I feel like this video is a little more knowing ;)

Having said that, great bass tones! I'd love to try one out, since I've been thinking of getting a little bass amp for home use and this fits the bill.

Actually, I don't like that tone - it almost farts out occasionally, but on the top end?

The second video you posted is maybe a bit better, I guess it's still a great practise tool but she's not playing hard at all - I doubt it would be any good for aggressive funk and slapping.

    So that's me out. :(
