Accidental tone!

Well just been pratting about with my rig, trying out a Poodle Pedal Zendrive copy.

Picket up my rock axe (Walmoth Wolfgang copy with a Bareknuckle Steve Stevens bridge).

Into an Egnator Tweaker.

And what comes out? Instant Jeff Beck style tone (which I've been chasing for years).

So no marshall or single coil involved and a pedal that is supposed to sound like a Dumble (fenderish tone)

Who'd have thought.

Zendrives and single coils sound a bit wimpy - the best mod if you want to use a zendrive with single coils is upping the gain pot to 1M.

Finding a Jeff Beck like tone would make a lot of people's year well done sir!
