Where to get my Wampler pedal fixed ?

Pinnacle Deluxe...faulty switch (on/off not the boost) I guess easy for someone who does this kind of thing but who..where? New switch plus a bit of a techys labour time...£?

  • No idea for where you are, but for something as simple as a switch (a few solder joints and a new part) you could just about ask anyone who knows how to solder.

    Wampler will be able to tell you what the part is (if it's not obvious), then you just need someone who knows which end of an iron to hold. 

    You could buy a cheap soldering iron (http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/40w-soldering-kit-n72hy) and so long as you have some pliers/spanners and a screw driver, you could do it yourself (if you could be bothered) with the help of a youtube video and a bit of practice beforehand.

    If you're not in the mood for DIY, the local guitar repairer would be able to do it easily, plus TV repair men (if they even still exist) would be able to too (though I'd prefer it to go to the guitar shop, as they'll more easily be able to test it.
