    Just to add to my above comment: I didn't realise earlier that you probably meant what Marshall era of plexi in which case it's a 1987.

    That's the model number (1987). It's a late 60s JMP 50W lead circuit.

    Thats the circuit designation number not the year. (1959 was the Superlead 100w 1986 was the 50 bass version, 1987X is the reissue)  These were late sixties early seventies. Beautiful clean tone through to great crunch.
