  • Not seen this one, but seen the other one that's an hour long on You Tube. He's an amazing player. Thanks for sharing this one, I will watch it now!

  • Will have to have a look although struggling to believe there is any Koch on YouTube I haven't seen :-B Despite his love of Mark Knopfler he is very much in the camp of guitarists like Jerry Donahue and Jim Campilongo as twangy clever guitarists what I like. Why I can't get on with telecasters I don't know :ar!

Yeah, I can't play mine like what he does either.

    Great player.

I started paying attention when I first saw a few of the video demos for that US guitar shop.

There's a vid of him coming on to jam as a guest of Joe Bonnamassa and IMO he plays with far more emotion and character.

  • Cool video @Bucket ~ I really enjoyed that, great playing.

I love the engineers comment at the end ~ "OK, you ready to take one ?"

Real old skool studio ~ 2" 24track laced up and rolling, tons of outboard, and a desk big enough to land Sea Harriers on.
I used to love those environments...

Thank you so much for posting this.

I only vaguely knew his name as a humourous Fender demo guy (sorry - that's probably doing him a great disservice) I stumbled on some clips recently though and woah. I really love his playing and sense of humour.

The first one I found was this:

Especially enjoyed what he plays from 4:25...(to the point where I had to transcribe and learn it, though of course, I can't play it like him!)

After that I watched his Copenhagen clinic but will go through the other links above, thanks!
