Boss FV-500H- any good?

Considering a passive volume/expression pedal to go towards the end of my chain. Is the Above mentioned Boss any good? Tone sucker?

    Only if you remove the tuner output and change the label on the front.

    If it's after any buffered pedal it will be fine. If all the pedals are true bypass, any passive volume pedal will suck tone when all the pedals are off.
