NPD: Devi Ever The Hyperion

I'm not normally one for NPD's but I've been pretty impressed with this.

Got one cheap off the 'bay last week and have had the weekend to play with it, and like I said, I'm really impressed. I'm not much of a fuzz man, and haven't been blown away by the other Devi pedal I had - a 90 (good pedal, didn't suit my old rig, not as thick as I would have liked) - so was a little skeptical, but I've been pleasantly surprised.

Works really well for lead stuff, and have yet to dial in any really bad tones from it. You do have to be a bit careful how high you set the 'Control' but with both Control and Volume both a 1 o'clock the fuzz is super thick and you can still get away with pwer chords. Build quality is also much neater inside than the 90 I had and some gut shot pics of other Devi Ever pedals I've seen.

Straight out of the box this pedal had me smiling and riffing in a way I haven't done for ages, so in that respect money well spent!
