I have already mentioned this in another section of the forum, got some photos of it over the weekend, thought I post some pics.
Basically I was chatting to
@andyoz about PRS single cuts and I was helping him out looking up a good deal online...I seem to have a knack of finding good deals it seems. While I was doing that I came across this. I guess it is an impulse buy especially as it came from the States, same place I picked up my Stripped 58. The price was too good, especially one in this colour, I have not seen many 305, never mind in white.
In terms of sound, it is like a Strat (not 100% but close enough for me). It has very similar specs - 25.5" scale, satin maple neck, alder body, 3 single coils. It weights in the low 7lbs (7.3 or 7.5lbs), very resonant. In position 2 and 4, lower the volume a littler to around 8, it sounds very much like a Strat twang, on full, it sounds....more, people describe it as Strat on steroids and I guess that's close. I do have the pick ups set pretty low, I might up it a little more to see if I can get the same sound at volume 6 or there abouts, giving more oomph when it is at 10 !!!
so, pics !
and here she is with the CU22 Special I got from
@Stefb back in September.

You've outdone yourself on that one, really classy. And the birds looks fabulous, too! I'm not a birds lover, but they really suit that thing.
Great gas - possibly rivals your blue single cut for me.
My band - Crimson on Silver For sale - Blackstar HT-5S
Gear - Guitars, amps, effects and shizz. Edited for Phil_aka_Pip, who is allergic to big long lists.
I think the answer as to why they don't sell particularly well is that most Strat players want a Strat that looks exactly like a Strat. Those who are prepared to venture beyond Fender have Suhr, Anderson and Music Man to consider as options.
The OP's guitar looks lovely and was seriously good value at that price.
I prefer the white though. Seriously in love with this guitar!
That colour would look ace on a "real" strat with all white plastics. Mmm...
I really wish PRS would do more of this 'normal' looking gear.
