Anyone know a courier that packs and collects amps ??

Got a seller who has a lovely amp but can't pack or ship .
I wondered if there is a courier who would do it for him .

Anyone know ??!!

Simply, no.  It is clearly stated by every courier I have used that packing etc is the responsibility of the sender.

No chance. That would make the courier liable for shit packing.

The closest option would be to have a removals firm do it - they would collect and wrap in their usual cloth stuff and transport in a furniture van, but they want to charge you a ton at least....it's an option I was offered for moving a full stack (at 200 for a head and 2 4x12s).

One alternative, and I've seen it done over on basschat, is to find a friendly forum member local to the seller who may oblige to pick it up and wrap it for a couple of beer tokens and you can arrange a bother to collect from them. Might be worth investigating!

And I'm enjoying how my phone has corrected "courier" to "bother" somehow. It must have used CityLink before.
