I look forward to getting to a few more of these.
The last one was great fun.

@bigjon, I'd come, but have to be at hospital in the morning....
I seem to remember you had to turn down the amp I was using as i was having a Nigel Tuffnell (It goes to 11) moment... (insert big shit-eating grin) :-) :-)

I'll be the slightly-lost looking person who can't drink beer anymore
@TTony, my last outing I was drinking orange juice & lemonade, rock'n'effn'roll......
Sunday blues jam (unless @Viz is there) I'll be the one with a Floyd-loaded guitar.......

I was pleased with how I played, although having a great bassist helped immensely.....
BTW the bridge pup in the Jackson was created by non other than @van_hayden...........

I'm guessing that the various pub-based music nights are popular in Cambridge because of the large student population?
Or is that a wrong assumption??
I'm wondering whether the approach could be emulated elsewhere. From what I saw at the Sunday night session, the pub was a lot busier than I'd expect most pubs to be on a Sunday evening. If the other events are as well-attended, they must bring some useful revenue into the pub.
But would that only work for city-centre pubs with a large number of muso-students in the catchment area?
I used to go to a Jam at St Neots, and on a sunday evening the pub was pretty full.
Shame to was a bit cliquey
