Really interesting and, in part, a compelling argument for middle aged men to be in bands. They all seem to be still available to listen to including forum faves like Richard Thompson and Robbie Williams ( possibly).

    That first Robbie Williams album is very good, largely due to Guy Chambers' input, IMHO.

  • Most of the way through the Richard Thompson ones. He gives good interview.

    this was from the period he was still expecting to drop dead any moment as well.
    He was on Radcliffe and Maconie yesterday afternoon. Fascinating listening - it's almost as though he is more pole-axed by being 'cured' than he was by his original terminal diagnosis....

    Yes, digital isn't as enduring as people think. I was looking at a couple of copies of the Gutenberg bible this evening, but just try to find something you posted on musicradar...
    (You'll have no luck trying to find anything I posted there at least.)
