VINTAGE RED LABEL YAMAHA FG110 000 SIZE ACOUSTIC GUITAR:

I have only had this a very short time. It is everything I had heard about a red label vintage Yamaha guitar and more.
So why is it for sale?

One reason:

A soft v- profile neck a la Clapton signature Martin.
Unfortunately I just can't get on with a v-profile neck.
I have even considered having it re-profiled but that would be daft.

What I can tell you about this guitar:
  • It is solid and has stood the test of time.
  • The neck is straight and true with no issues.
  • The truss rod works exactly as it should.
  • The action is low and easy.
  • It sounds superb - Jangly and detailed with surprising volume and projection.
  • There are some cosmetic marks that you would expect of a guitar that is 30 -40 years old but nothing of consequence and nothing that effects the tone or playing.
  • At some point the machine heads have been upgraded to closed design- They work and the tuning stays rock solid.
  • There is no case.
