So I spent some time this evening looking at neck/hardware options at a mate's place...

I must admit, I think it's great!

She's a Graphic Designer/Illustrator - the work she usually produces are paintings like those below. I think the Tele has given her a chance to just go for it and see what happens!

Personally, I'd prefer something that makes a statement and will get noticed by an audience.That's a bit too subtle for me!   )

Look....I realise there are probably people out there who are producing hand painted Telecaster bodies. But their attempts at marketing have not reached me.

If you (yes You)  have artistic talent, and you can make the right decisions on finish (probably nitro), and if you can persuade Fender to sell you unfinished Mexico bodies (I don't see why not....they are already halfway there) then surely there is a business opportunity here for you. Or a lucrative hobby.
