Any regular blues jam nights in South East Kent?

Are there any that anyone attends? Know about the one at the Vigo Inn but wondered if there were any closer to me (Canterbury). Had a look about and seem to be drawing a blank.

Cheers

  • Lower Bell in Aylesford does a well run jam night on a Monday, although may be a bit of a hike for you. My band plays at the Bell & Crown in Canterbury occasionally and Ive a feeling they may do one.

@Blacksheep how do you find the electrics in the lower bell? They've got a good lighting rig but caused my amp to hum like crazy.

Also, the Vigo inn tried to not pay my band as they said they didn't take enough money over the bar. The guy was pretty drunk and aggressive.

Sorry to put a downer on the two venues mentioned.

  • Sorry only just seen this.

Electrics at Lower Bell used to drive me mad. I remember the hum getting slightly better when they turn off fruit machines.

But Steve Crisp runs a great jam night..

Don't know the Vigo Inn but it sounds like one to avoid.
