NGD: Taylor Koa beauty!

So I finally picked up my 324ce Koa on Saturday from the gents at Rose Morris. All I can say is, it's lovely.

I was fortunate enough to be able to try these out alongside most of the Taylor range in RM so I'm more than happy with the tonal differences between this and a more traditional spruce & hog/rosewood model; either way, it sounds great to me! I was also able to play it back-to-back with the K24 model, which is exactly the same construction, but has fancier cosmetics.... suffice to say, I don't feel it was worth the extra £2k on top of this one!

The back's a little plainer, but who really cares about that?!

That's lovely. As I've said before, I'm a big fan of Taylors - the plainer ones in particular.

They almost always sound better that the fancier ones - and all of them play equally well.

@Dindude - I only went in there initially to try out that little all-hog Guild again, think we played on them in Hanks though?

Yeah, remember that Guild, really liked it. I would still like a small-box all-hog but just can't justify it with the amount of acoustic I play. My own Taylor, a GA4, covers a lot of ground though. I do love Taylor's, yours looks a beut.
