Even if you had a professional fret levelling and dress job done it's still bloody cheap and looks great.

Even with £40 for a couple of decent pots, a switch and an output jack it's nowhere near expensive.

I really like it a lot.

Yeah... but wipe the blood off them and you'll have some nice cables and plugs.

I've been looking as closely as i can at the neck and general construction and it looks good.
The lack of a tremolo means it can be made stable and for general use as a jangly pop or a grungy rock machine it is unbelievable value.

I can see one of these appearing at Alnico Towers sometime this year.

You can also have a 335 type, or an explorer for about the same. Tempted by the explorer.

I saw that too and it's a nice looking thing, especially in that colour but i thought that maybe the cheap parts used in the Tremolo might cause problems. What drew me to the first one is that there is no tremolo and less to go wrong.

That explorer is a set neck isn't it?

That being the case it's just a mission to replace cheap hardware and there's a great guitar for buttons !

EDIT: Yes it is a set neck..............

Yeah set neck, basewood body, should be a decent guitar, I think I'm going to buy one at the end of the month, and order some pickups ready to swap them straight out.

how does Donkey dick taste? :-P
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

that Jag is perfect...it ticks all the boxes for me...one thing that puts me off fender jags (that i can afford) is the dot inlays and no binding...this one looks perfect...

someone needs to buy it and see if it plays well.

I'm sure with some good electronics it can sound pretty damn good, as long as it feels good to play.
