Going to go for a Harley Benton L-450 Plus Honey Burst i think as i have some pups laying about that need a guitar

EXACTLY what I'm wondering... Probably not enough of an issue to be a deal breaker though. I suspect that merely by rounding off the point near the tip I'd get close enough.

Just ordered a L450 Honeyburst & TE-80 NT will report/review once they arrive.

I ordered the B-30 BK acoustic bass (decoration) http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_b_30_bk_acoustic_bassdeko.htm at same time as the S-600 VI for the challenge (it saved me a tenner on postage), and it has just arrived.
Straight out of the box, all I can see wrong with it, is that there is a fair bit of fret buzz at around frets 3-5 when fretting each string up to that point; not sure if fret dressing will sort it out, but it's not been tuned yet so it may come out a bit under proper tension.  Will update with what I find out....
