Here's the 7th Riff of the Month (RotM) Challenge, being run by @Antique_Guitars and @TTony.

The challenge is now open, and remains open for submissions until 24th February.

All you have to do is ...

• Write a guitar riff.  You can include whatever else you want in the mix, but the main focus must be on the riff.
• Keep it to a maximum of 50 seconds.  This is about riffs, not songs.
• Challenge opens on the 1st of every month, and closes on the 24th of the month.
• Voting opens on the 25th of the month, and closes on the last day of the month, when the winner will be announced.

Let us know if you would like your entry to be anonymous.

The tracks will be uploaded to our SoundCloud account and saved in a playlist that will be linked below

OK i juste entered too, a really quick recording on my phone with a different acoustic guitar and in standard (boring tuning)

The strings are quite new on this guitar so it sounds a bit too bright, not particularly happy with it but it shall do for now plus my fingers hurt!

I know the feelin about not being happy dude.  I sold my ME-80 so had to make do with iPad for recording as I have nothing to connect to computer, which is OK but Garageband on my laptop is better sounding.

I've done all of mine (RotM and the composition compos) on my iPad ...

I've used GB where I've needed drums/strings, and JamUp Pro for the guitar/fx tracks.

That said, I've not won any of the compos
