how to clean tarnished pick up covers

i'm thinking of moving my mint 2002 Gibson les paul standard on the only thing is when it has been in the case the pick ups have tarnished a little bit ,i'm 100%sure they are chrome covered so what's a gentle metal cleaner to get them shiny again without scratching?

If the chrome plating is decent (Gibson's is), Brasso is fine. Don't ever use it on gold though, takes the gold straight off. "Silvo" is ok on both chrome and gold.
