Bose L1 Compact vs Fender Expo...

I'm thinking about starting some solo acoustic gigs again, and have come to the point where I think about PA systems. When I did my one and only solo gig before, I used my Marshall AS100D due to the fact it was only a small pub. Unfortunately I wasn't hugely happy with the sound, so I am now considering compact line array PAs. I recently read a review of the Fender Expo which seemed quite favourable, but thought I'd check out the Bose L1 Compact too. The thing that puts me off the Fender is the lack of tone controls on the inputs (obviously this can be remedied by also buying a mixer) whereas the Bose has basic tone control and "Toneprint". I know a shop not too far away has the Bose in stock and that it's testable there, so hopefully I'll be able to check it out soon.

Anybody have any opinions on either?
