Up for sale is my former jooky ( spangled one ) that I bought from mr jooky on the old forum. After having it for a while I got a puppy who decided to remove the paisley covering ( well half of it ) . The remaining bits were just flapping around so I took all the covering of. Which revealed a sunburst strat but covered in glue. So I stripped the guitar and sent it off to a friend that does some airbrushing on the side. I told him to do whatever he fancied on it. He stripped the original paint and then re sprayed and finished the guitar with some air brushed war of the the worlds art work. I then fitted a pre loaded Texas blues pick guard from axerus. Now I know this is not everyone's cup of tea but it plays great and the finish is excellent. So if your after a truly one off guitar this is it. £200 delivered.

Base spec, is hard to say. When I got it off jooky chap it was covered in paisley and only had his name on the headstock. What I can tell you is. It's a 2 piece body which is HSH routed. The neck is maple with a rosewood board, medium frets and a 9 1/2 radius. Electrics wise it was a fully loaded plate from axerus. One of their Texas blues Alamo plates. Which is slightly hotter than standard strat pickups.

iirc, that had a body from a MIM Strat, though not sure where the neck came from (sorry) it was back in those early recycling/found art bobbins daze..

  • I've never understood why people don't make their offers by PM. Not only does it reveal if you're a low-baller but also it makes it easy for someone else to offer a tad higher and boot you out of the game.

    Hiya Birdo,

Don't know what kind of Acoustic you're after?

I have a Takamine F340  (the Martin D18 'lawsuit' model, apparently).
It is solid mahogany back and sides, x bracing, and a laminate top. Made in Japan (not korea, china etc).

Here is one for sale on Ebay - 281260087699

Mine is newer, about 1990-1992. I can't remember the exact year. I bought it new, with the Takamine hard case.

I was going to shove it on Ebay with a BIN of £350.  If you want to PX the strat, it's yours for £200 plus guitar.

If interested send me a msg.

    Cheers
    Chris

PS am in Reading, Berkshire if you want to see it in the flesh.

*edit* ps mine is in way better condition than that scratched up 70's model.
