Go, on, do it Personally I love BRW so much I'd never buy another PRS without it (given the obvious that diminishes my options somewhat tho!). I've owned guitars with IRW and it just doesn't feel or sound the same in my humble opinion.

You know what..I would, but I really don't think my knowledge or ability are worthy of owning such goodness, my only justification would be future collectability. 

That said, I wouldnt mind sitting on some 17K worth of axes !

The 513 has a unique carve, can't remember what they call it but it's a little wider than the wide fat but not any deeper.

All three ME's are Wide Fat carves.

Need to dig the Suhr spec sheet out but until then it's a very comfortable D profile very similar to my Guthrie.

In my experience they feel slicker than the indian Rosewood necks, the common concensus is they sound richer and are generally a deeper shade of brown. There's also the mojo and rarity factors. I'm sure there are many happy owners of IRW necks who believe the difference is merely cork sniffing snobbery though.

I've never played an all rosewood neck. I imagine it must darken the sound a bit (in a good way) - mine have maple necks!

Private Stock ME1 now sold, thanks Chris! As a result the two regular Modern Eagle 1's are withdrawn from sale as I didn't want to part with all three. The PRS 513 BRW and Suhr are still available.

I'd love that suhr...nae cash at the min tho...wish I'd bought that ps me1 but I snared a normal me1 a month ago. Brw feels so much nicer that my irw and it does have the extra collectability. Best production guitar I've ever played
