Yes...it's just taking a direct feed from the TC to your earphones with a cable...which can go alongside your guitar lead. I've used that kind of setup live for several years. Works great for me and costs nowt.

Still can't picture it ...

I thought the benefits of IEM included being 'wireless' .... but I'm picturing you having a monster length headphone cable dangling off your head as you play the gig?

The TC Helicon guitar/headphone cable does a similar thing but costs £22-£25 if you can't find somewhere that stocks them. A headphone extension lead taped to a guitar lead works just as well. I think the addition of a switch-3 makes the looping easier on the Play series?

Yes...I believe it does...I've used the self-contained looper a little bit...but I'm far too clumsy to make any worthwhile use of it

The worst thing about the looper on the VL2 is the fact that its linked to the shortcut button on the top row of the footswitches... It's like Riverdance trying to use it!

Thank you very much. We weren't sophisticated, but we gave it some welly! I recently left the band after 10 years together...they're a couple of top blokes. They replaced me and are back out gigging again. They're worth a look, if you can catch them sometime :-)
