One reason not to vote UKIP :p otherwise Thomann will be a massive NO NO if you have to add another 25% on top.

If memory serves, anything Vintage with strings on one imports from US/Canada is exempt too?

If it is from a store etc no different from buying in the UK. Shouldn't take any longer to arrive and I believe consumer law in the EU protects you near enough the same. Which country?

I'm not sure about vintage but I had to pay all the trimmings when I imported 2 prs. And define vintage.

this concludes buying guitars from Europe
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
