OK so has anyone actually got one of these? - really want to know what the difference between this and a standard (other than the neck) but cant really find much info from people whove actually compared the two..

    There was a guy on MU who had one, no idea if he made it over.

    The fret board is one of the 'other' woods (shudder) but if you can get passed that I think they look great.

    yeah that is a given.

     

    I really like the white burst but don't want to spend that money and then find out Ive got to replace pups wiring etc to get a decent sound...

    And I still don't get how standards have suddenly become £2000 guitars?!

    The '57 Classics sound great in the Traditional, IIRC it's the same pups in the Sig T.

    The Sig T then gets the coil tap options, not sure how usable those tones really are (I've not played one yet)

    Got one,  love it...  Plays like a standard  and sounds good.  Looks good in my opinion too.  Now my main gigging instrument.  coil taps are ok for the odd tune and to avoid you swapping guitars.   Neck is slimmer than a standard which I like..  It is not weight relieved (i think) so you know you are going to get shoulder ache after a while.

    You can actually move it yourself by editing the opening comment and selecting another category from the drop-down list. :)
