    Lovely guitars.  For the vibe I have always preferred Fenders but the build quality on the US G&Ls is quite amazing.

    I had an ASAT and still have a Legacy - both US.

    The ASAT was great, but had a very chunky neck with which I just didn't get on.

    The Legacy is very nice indeed (better now it's got a pair of 'buckers) but I'm not really playing much guitar at all any more. Very nicely made though and the trem in particular is a fantastic design.

    just tried an asat with those big pickups in neck and bridge. sounded nice and fat. neck was a bit chunky which was a worry but after a while I got on with it quite well. much to think about

    Its a ASAT Super, the MFD pickups are overwound versions of the ASAT special
    This ones chambered mahogany with a mahogany neck, quite a thick neck (not too thick) and I'm liking it a lot
