    Weird...

Have you lot got a "Stupor" drive pedal? The SD1 model?

its not showing on mine but it's in the release notes.

    any ideas?

During power up does it briefly display version 2.20?

Did you do the reset after the update by holding down the middle two buttons in the bottom row during power up?

**But back up your presets first**

    yup
I see the Stupor was introduced at update v2.10.
So it should have already been there before the update to v2.20. But one would expect 2.20 to contain everything, so I'm not sure what's going on. Perhaps best to ask on the Line 6 forum.

This is the point at which your missus takes a look and finds it right away... then goes away tutting

Anyone using the 3 Sigma IRs?

I was getting good results with a random Taylor IR I downloaded free, so I thought I'd try the 3 Sigma Taylor 610E IRs. They come with different versions designed to work in different scenarios. This is what you get:

    Tay\ 610/
    ├── Acoustic
    │   ├── Piezo
    │   │   ├── 44.1
    │   │   ├── 48
    │   │   ├── 88.2
    │   │   └── 96
    │   └── Soundhole
    │       ├── 44.1
    │       ├── 48
    │       ├── 88.2
    │       └── 96
    ├── Electric
    │   ├── 44.1
    │   ├── 48
    │   ├── 88.2
    │   └── 96
    └── Kemper\ Profiling\ Amp
        ├── Electric
        ├── Piezo
        └── Soundhole

The Acoustic/Piezo and Acoustic/Soundhole work OK but I can't get a decent sound out of the Electric IRs. When I say "Decent sound", I mean I barely get any output at all. It's like I'm doing something wrong. But I'm loading and using them in exactly the same way as the others.

Has anyone else tried them and got them to work?

Only used the Piezo ones (with a piezo guitar)

I presume you are actually *using* an electric guitar pickup with the electric IR ?

If it's just a level thing what does turning the output level on the IR block do?

I'll have a try with mine tomorrow using an electric guitar and the electric IR (I have the Hummingbird one)
    Red ones are better.

so when you go <drive pedal> - mono - what does the list of available options look like around that part of the alphabet?

I've just downloaded my first free IRs.

    Just for curiosity really.

Now I have a test patch with my usual brewtal boosted rectifier amp settings, but with 8 snapshots with 4 IRs and 4 internal cab sims to flip between.

Amazing how different they can sound.

    Question

What is the difference between 1024 and 2048 IRs? I've loaded the free ownhammer 4x12 ones at 2048, but I don't know if I did the right thing, or if I'm just using up DSP

Yeah, I'm using an electric guitar.

It seems like more than a level thing - I'm hardly getting anything, and there is all HF. The piezo sounds louder at -18db than the electric at +6!

it's the number of samples in the IR.

Helix IRs are (or get converted to if they are not) fixed 48kHz so the samples figure dictates duration of the IR

Threads I've seen suggest that people cannot tell the difference for cab IRs

Shit, thin and all high end? Sounds like a perfect Taylor sim :-)  (sorry, couldn't resist)

Exactly the same with the Gibson J15 set, so I suspect I'm either not doing something right or misunderstanding what the Electric IRs are supposed to do?

"We recommend using the neck or middle pickup"

    Tried the neck pickup?

I skipped 2.10 out of laziness
Is it possible that the updates only add new stuff and not overwrite everything, so to get the Stupor model you need to do a 2.1 upgrade then the 2.2?

don't think so, as I got the litigator amp which I didn't have before
