    "Lawn".

There's something quintessentially English about the word, don't you think? And yet a good lawn is one of the hardest things to achieve in a garden. Gardeners struggle for years to get that perfect green baize look.

Which is why a lazy twat like me has block-paved the whole plot, and sold his lawnmower.

My mother's ex's brother was so particular about his lawn that his two children weren't allowed to play on it - in case they broke it I guess.

Lawns are strange... I have a roof terrace with some moss on, so it's like a lawn...

There's a building in Ramsgate port that has a grass roof. Well, a grass-covered roof, anyway.

  • As you now have a lawn should this thread not be titled NLD?

Not if he still hankers for more lawn...

After all, the Grass Is Always Greener On the Other Side Of the Fence.

He could end up annexing all the gardens to his south, and then marching into the gardens to the east and west, later to garden on two fronts. In the name of lounging room
