Just been put onto these from the dream amp thread. Anyone ever played one?

The 15 sounds like my absolute perfect amp.

My friend has the 30 and it's a cracking amp. It has this dial at the back that has several different settings but technically, I don't know what it does, but the sound changes quite drastically, and not all the sounds were nice but there are some goodies. He plugged me into it at a rehearsal room via his Crook Tele and I was convinced there were a couple of pedals "plumbed in" like a mild, transparent overdrive and compressor. I couldn't believe the sound was coming just from the amp and we jumped the channels.
I now get what the Vox chimey sound is.

It's in red and he has considered selling it

That's encouraging. It's almost impossible to get any amps over here, never mind posh rare ones! I'd have to sell at least my Mesa, then get one shipped over here, but at least the Express would fetch more here than in the UK.

I reckon the 15 with reverb, as a 1x12 combo and a Blue speaker would be AMAZING. The 30 I'm sure would be nice but further towards silly weight and likewise the 2x12 version. Just can't believe I hadn't heard of these before today!

You might get more answers on the more USA-centric forums? I've never tried one, but I'm sure I've heard them talked about from time to time on places like TGP, harmony central and ultimate guitar. Even if you just go there and do a search you're liable to get some useful info.
