Wow, really good!  Nice to see technology being put to imaginative use like that.

    Michael Jackson died too soon!

I'd have a Brad Pitt nose Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  A Tom Cruise nose Tuesdays and Thursdays and for the weekend ... Daniella Westbrooke's

Are there any other sticky out bits they can do?

    Who are "they" the wizzards?

There's more than one way to skin a 3D printer... and some ways to print stuff make very structurally poor products - is why the home-printed 3D limb market is almost a novelty in-spite of being mind-bogglingly cheaper than the fancy bionics that can cost six figure sums...

But, printer tech aside, any sticky outy bit *could* be 3D printed... the question becomes how important is it - even non-bigotted people will make judgements based on facial appearances, so a child without a nose will have a hard time in life with people staring, or teasing them... and it's a relatively simple shape - vaguely triangular bit shoved under the skin and bingo you're done... ears have been done a few times, jaws are fairly common...

Things that need to move, or that get poked, or do poking can be more complicated - doable but harder.

fingers and toes are the worst bits to try...

it's either super expensive materials made of carbon fibre and kevlar etc or metals ... bone has this fantastic balance of being quite strong and quite light-weight ... your hands do so very many things you take for granted - putting hands in tight jean pockets is fine, but if you have a printed finger you might snap it, and have sharp bits of plastic finger cutting you from the inside... so it needs to be strong, but if it weighs a ton you'll feel it more... and toes - we walk funny... engineering a replacement toe could be a nightmare of snapped prototypes and test subjects wanting to stab the manufacturers... there are newer 3D printing techniques that would be better suited to it, but many of those are still in the prohibitively expensive stages (perhaps some clever honey-comb pattern laser sintered hollow metal structures... expensive to make and could fail at any time needing replacement - or in a child, they will grow out of it...

    Oh...

And the next time your printer at home jams, or prints gibberish, contemplate just how annoying that is on something that could take hours or more than a day to print ... 3D printing cannot become the norm for a lot of manufacturing until every time we click print in 2D we know it will be fine and there wont be an need to blow on print heads or turn it off and on again

I think they most likely would.

I missed that or are you joking?  I thought the 3d printed but was the cartilage.  Stem cells will grow around it, as they would grow an ear or something.  Still, not as mind blowing as cells themselves though eh.

    Not joking.
It is still very much in development though.

I think she looks awesome without a nose. It's almost a shame to spoil it. Perhaps I read too much manga - no-one has a nose in manga.

With this technology you could have three or four willies, at once.

Like you need to wait for technology to give you your first taste of multiple cocks! ;)
