HSS pickup choices

Hi guys, I am building a dream partscaster,and really confused about my hardware choices,as you know there are loads and loads of them on the web,,my question in summary is,do you recommend oil city pickups? For this build? I play blues Stevie Ray Vaughan,some slash,buddy guy, to yngwie malmsteen,billy Duffy of the cult,please guys any ideas?someone recommended stonetone for neck and middle+V2 venom for bridge for me heavier tone and hard rock to bluesy hard rock and glam,,,,please guys help help. I,m really confused
