FYI, Dave Sabo of Skid Row was using a custom ESP, an Ltd MH327 as backup, a Digitech RP1000 on the floor and a 5150 head. Sounded immense, and made me laugh at the stupidly expensive gear I've seen from many a shit sounding pub band.

grew up listening to all that, and actually Skid Row was the first band I ever saw live.

I last saw Skid Row in 1995, at Cambridge.

I also saw them at Donington in 1992  and 1995. They were always awesome live. Especially when 18 & Life was played.

I got a boot in my eye at the Cambridge gig..........Some crowdsurfer caught my left eye with his boot.

I previously saw them supporting Aerosmith at the NEC, in Liverpool supported by Vain, and I think I've seen them another time but I'm not sure.

This was the best yet though, and I actually prefer Solinger to Bach.

Interestingly, I once played UKJ's 'I hate everything about you' to a soon-to-be-ex.

My mate is the tour manager but sadly I couldnt make Wrexham show on Sat. I believe it was fantastic!

We snuck in my son, (who's a big 12, it was a14+), it was his first 'proper' rock gig. He saw Vai last year in Florida but that was all very sedate. He plays drums and gtr and now he's seen what happens when it's done properly and he is totally hooked.
