Really fancy one.....

The demo's sound really good on YT...

unsure about splashing heavy ca$h on one though...

 

Any opinions etc would be welcome...

its a muff style fuzz with a very focused sound that makes it great for use with a band - its also very useable from low gain to high gain settings

definitely worth a punt if someone is willing to let one go - but you certainly can't have mine

It's a very usable fuzz, good control of the mids to cut through the mix. They come up on eBay fairly regularly at about £100, they're £140 new.

I have one that does all of my higher gain stuff.

I like that it does what a fuzz should. It can go from that nice Muff style sound to raw and aggressive. As someone has already mentioned it has a lot scope as far as working well at different gain stages, and reacts very well to your volume knob.

This is one of only 2 fuzz pedals I have ever really liked, the other being a SM Fuzz, and the winning thing for me with the Hoof, along with all the above, is that the jacks are top mounted, it just makes so much more sense as far as getting things on a pedal board, why can't all pedals have them!
