Hell it doesn't even need to be a musician!

I once sold an EBTech Hum Elimintor on eBay and had to send it to Maida Vale Studios... That's about it!

Anyone got any better stories?

No but Steve Vai has; he sold me his amp.

Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

My mate sold a Roland guitar synth, and controller to the ginger kid in metal mickey.
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

I once sold a Boss Slow Gear to Jools Holland which he evidently still uses on his presenting voice.

Yes, but it wasn't for the famous person, the famous person bought the guitar as a birthday present for his son, so I don't know if I count it as selling something to somebody famous because ultimately the guitar ended up with a non famous child.

Oh yeah, an original first run 240v SIB Echodrive to Noel Gallagher's girlfriend for his birthday pressie. And I utterly shafted her (metaphorically) as I knew I had the only one in the UK.

Privately a few things. Boss Dm-2 to Dan Hawkins, Eventide Timefactor to Keith Emmerson, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal to Mark Knopfler. Professionally more so of course. I actually had one guy (who you will know but remain nameless) who when given a price for his shopping list of products gave the old "don't you know who I am" line.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.

    That's him. I couldn't remember his name.

I also forgot... HH IC100 - or it might have been a VS Musician, I can't quite remember that either! - head to Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr.).

I hope your response was "Yes, I do know who you are, and therefore, I know you can afford it."
