Well - this looks good. Hayden from bulldog Pickups and Matamp here. Haven't been able to post on the old forum for years as my account got blocked in one of the updates along the way. Hope to catch up with a few people now....

    Hi Guys,

Bertie - no, depends what mood I was in.... pop them back and I'll open them up, I could swap a bobbin out if needed. How you liking the guitar? Mine Griffin's still my fav axe....should get a new one soon, ish.

Hi Paul - trust everything's well the other side of the Pennines?

And Mike, glad you like it - watcha go for?

I went through a lot of  'in and out' of love.......it took some getting used to, particularly the s/steel frets, as they're quite high -  and sorting out the amp/pedals/tone+vol     -   loving it now   :)>-

I was the same, I went for an odd neck in a way, now it's great, but I've had it over 6 years now!

An Extremist with Alnico 5 magnet, same as Clarky recommended. Has turned Laura* into an awesomes guitar.
You did get a lot of love from me and a lot of others over at MR........
I'd say you nailed exactly what I asked for (Adrian Smith/Dave Murray/Michael Wilton/Chris de Garmo), but, its also great for most 70's heavy rock (Sabbath AC/DC etc) without being too modern-sounding, and great for more modern sounds without being too vintage sounding.

*BTW, I'm a sad bastard who's named his guitars......

Glad you like them! They're really popular, but I'm going to avoid sales pitches on here......
