I checked my parts bin, thought I had a Powertron in there, but can't find it.

Nothing 'reasonably priced' on eBay. If one pops up on Gretsch Talk, I'll let you know.

There is one here at Gretsch Talk - in the USA, but $90.(£59) plus postage.

The Powertron is like a Classic plus, but with a bit of PAF thrown in.  Thicker meaty sound.  Sounds awesome in a Cabronita (with minimum volume/tone controls).

Great rock pickup, but will do jazz and rockabilly with ease.
