For the interested parties amongst us, Montreal Assembly have opened the pre-orders for the next batch of Count To Fives, shipping around the beginning of December. I believe these move fast.

Can't recommend this pedal enough. I absolutely love mine. This & the Bitquest have been my best acquisitions this year, no question.

I understanding its a mini sampler kind of ???

Much more than a mini-sampler. Also a pitch shifting delay, ring-mod type thing too. You can get a lot of sounds out of this thing, depending on the settings & the mode you're in. Plus, the reverse & all the various quantisation / buffer settings that can be had. Tons o fun

Can you work it with an expression pedal and does it have global tap tempo?

Apparently. Think they're only minor things. Though he does claim this one sounds better.

What's new in this run: The main circuit has been upgraded to have better sound quality than the previous rev h,i,j boards. Other hardware features will remain the same as the previous revision (j). The firmware is also getting a few tweaks. Mode 1 will have a few more frills and a "transcendence" feature which allows you to switch modes without losing what's in the buffer will be available by the shipping date.

cool, thanks! i wonder if better sound quality means a higher bit rate or great sample deapth...
