FS: StayTrem Vibrato Upgrade (metric thread)

Hi guys, I've fallen out with my Jazzmasters vibrato - I just never, ever used it and ended up screwing the trem down and taking this out. It was a HUGE upgrade from stock and I thought that would mean I would end up using it more. As in ZERO give when using the trem, fantastic feel! It was in a Classic Player trem unit using the metric 10mm thread (there is an explanation about which is which on the StayTrem site) so should work on all Squires, MIJ, CIJ, Chinese and most Mexican Jags and Jazzmasters. Not for USA original or reissues and only some Classic Players. Anyway, it's mint, with ivory tip. Picture up shortly. £24 delivered.

I have no idea what the fuck this is but im putting together a jazzmaster at the minute and am looking for pretty much all the hardware!

is this something i need???? I've genuinely no clue what the hell piece this is. If it's useable for me I'll take it.

It's an 'upgrade' to a trem arm - if you buy a trem unit for a jazzmaster it will include one of these (though not a particularly good one of its an import!). You are best off getting a full trem unit and if you're not happy with the action on the vibrato after a bit , THEN you should look into it! If you need any help on the JM front give me a shout, I built mine in my pic from a Guitarbuild body and a Mexican Fender neck...

Ahhhh, see, that's where I got lost with it all, I actually thought it was the whole trem unit not just the arm... Sorry man.

Cheers for the heads up @GavHaus. The only issue is from the spec it doesn't look like it will be compatible with the USA reissue trem unit!
