I much prefer drum sticks the wrong way around, the balance seems so much better. Just sayin .....

check out Ziljdan absolute rock sticks or timbale sticks (thick ones)

the are the same width all the way down so you dont have to hold the funny end
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

On the subject of drum sticks - I keep a pair in the car. Driving 64 miles a day including the M1 and outer London I often find myself caught in a jam or stuck at traffic lights. At such a time I whip out the drumsticks and play along to whatever music I have on at the time. Not moving at the time so I figure why not!

I struggle enough with them the correct way round :-) I tried heavy sticks, but I think getting the balance point right is key to getting enough energy in the rebound to play fast. Good idea about a pair in the car though!
    Karma......
