I studied there, and yes, the acoustics facilities are amazing. There's a difference between 'anechoic' and 'soundproof', mind - the former just means absorbant surfaces everywhere to totally kill off any room reflections (useful for performing critical measurments on equipment without interference from room frequency cancellation / reinforcement), the latter means preventing sound from getting in or out and is acheived (usually) with the 'room-within-a-room' methods exemplifed by the isolation booth in the OP.
Anechoic rooms are often soundproof, but not the other way around - they sound VERY unnatural and aren't favoured for recording in, hence most soundproof rooms will still have some reflective surfaces to make them not sound weird.
They're dry enough to be a bit fatiguing over long periods and they get as hot as Hades. Although good soundproofing does always equal good heat insulation! The money in high end studios is often in the air handling systems.
If you've got the time you can DIY a better space for much less cash.
