Last night I had the privilege of feeling like a complete fraud

I attended the Jarboe concert (gig doesn't seem quite right) put on by Chaos Theory (London based promoter) at St Leonards church in Shoreditch. What an amazing venue - sound in there is lush as fuck!!

There were four acts; Mary Hampton, a folk singer guitarist of sorts. Bitter Ruin, a very impressive boy/girl duo with some of the most impressive vocal work I've heard in a long time. Then there was this siren, Jo Quail. Mesmerizing.



Then finally Jarboe of Swans did her performance; crazy neo-gothic type stuff I suppose. I was blown away by the musicianship in the room and felt utter inadequate!
