7 way multi guitar stand which to buy?

as above. looking at adrenaline 7 way at 24.99 or goliath  at 29.99 on the bay! could manage with 5 way but need more room for extra guitars in future, ha)

the goliath looks more sturdy, obviously want quality over price? 

 please does anyone have any experience with these one's or any other quality stands? will be just used at home and not for gigging!

They both look like junk, unfortunately. I had one similar (actually it had additional supports between the 'feet' and the sides) and it fell to bits, and that was just with very light home use. I've got one of the Stagg 6-way case stands and it's just the job. I think I paid about £60 for mine? It's worth shopping around.

I use the Quiklok 5 way, but there is IIRC a 7 way. Very sturdy and built to last.

I have the Warwick 7 way.

It is much more stable than the cheaper ones- considering I had about £20k worth of instruments in the rack, spending an extra £20 is wroth it.

Quiklok are good but getting spares for Quicklok is an absolute nightmare, should you need them.

Mine is up in the loft now as I wall mount my guitars but it was great when I needed it.

After finding many of the cheaper stands far too flimsy, I am now using a Hercules stand. They do not make a 7 guitar rack, but if you purchase the 5, you get an extra piece in the box to add to make it a 6. I currently have 6 on mine, and there is still plenty of room between each guitar. Not the cheapest rack, but one of the more sturdy designs I have come across.

As @Octatonic, I've got two of the Warwick 7 ways.  They are sturdy and covers don't rot Nitro cellulose.   The back can slacken a little with the weight of the guitars, using grip washers sorts that problem permanently.

been looking at the warwick 7 way, is that the standard 7way flatpack or the 7way guitar stand case combi ? don't know if case one is best option ? decisions decisions !
think I Will take advice and pay more for quality !

Quality is the watchword here.

If your guitars are not very valuble, sell one and upgrade. If they are just get a stand thats up to the job. Would you ask a dodgy pissed stranger at the bar to hold guitar while you went for a wazz? No you'd have someone reliable do it wouldn't you.

Another Stagg 6 way folding briefcase style here, £45 over ten years ago and has survived many many trips in the van. Still use it out nearly every week, and its solid as day one.

I've got the 7 way Warwick Rockstand and it's alright.. I do have one reservation with it though.

The bit at the bottom where the butt of the guitar rests. Because it's two continuous parallel bars as opposed to cups that hold individual guitars if you knock one of the guitars it can pivot around the neck and knock into the adjacent guitars or, if the rack is empty, spin sufficiently to fall down the gap between the two bars...
