Stripped from a Variax 600 by my own fair hands and tools, stored in an anti-static bag since. Well, the PCBs were. These have been hanging around for long enough that I don't think I'm going to make any use of them - I'd planned a follow-up to Sporkaster 1 which was a Variax 300 rehouse. Includes tremolo with arm, springs and claw.

    That's the guts of a V600 - 500s were all hard tails and the electronics were contained in a metal 'coffin' on the V300 & V600.

    I have a Variax 700 guitar (the archtop PRS looking one) here for sale without any of the electronics if anyone sees a chance to put it all back together.

    Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.

    Hmmnnn ..... a tiny bit tempting. I bought a variax to harvest the bits from about 18 months ago, but last time I had it out (about 18 months ago!) the electronics seemed a bit flaky. I should try it again, if it's definitely a bit dodgy I may well be interested.
