Then 1 x pleximan and 2 x singleman it is then!

    Perhaps!!
Plexi doesn't have reverb ... neither does v30. Can get v30 for half the price of brunetti.

Major concern is 5W loudness at home and how it sounds

Well, unless you can try one, you will never know. :) The pleximan loop is awesome, so you can simply put any reverb pedal of your choice in it.

Maybe you should get Marco Brunetti to custom build you a 1/4 Watt three channel amp with reverb and powerscaling

    Wonder if that's a possibility

Or buy an MC2 with lead, crunch, clean ,reverb and edge.
    Great at home.

They'll have all been discontinued by the time you decide! :)

    Do you accept magic beans?

    Then I could afford one!

Is there the option of power scaling on the pleximan, can you do that with dual channel amps?

  • If by 'magic beans' you mean GBP then yes.... ;-)

Victory amps are also PCB, I don't know the issue there... is that  like saying hand-wound pickups are better?

Ok be honest... is it too loud in 5W mode for usage in a flat, and does it sound good at low volumes? If not I'll look at something else

Soldano amps are all PCB, and let's face it...the SLO is probably the finest rock amp ever made.

As always, it comes down to the design, not the manufacturing method.

  • Ps - we had a bit of an issue with all the pricing on the site recently, it's all now fixed and back in line with competitive pricing across Europe! http://www.brunettiamps.com :)

I use the V30 in Full mode and with both valves active (you can switch one off) at home - it can be quieter than my TV and no issue with neighbours hearing it. You have to have that skill for "just" tapping the vol till it comes on tho - did the same with my 5150

Phew, I noticed that pricing error!
I almost pulled the trigger on the pleximan but 5W is still too loud for home. Power scaling might have made it ideal. Great sounding amps from the vids I've seen.

I have the hair-trigger issue with my Kraken, too; however, given that I now run it into a dummy load and then my DAW, it's not really an issue any more.

@digitalscream what do you use for CAB emulation?
