I bought some mini humbuckers from the MR classifieds a while back, stuck them in my Midtown Standard and still very happy with them 6 months later, they sound great.

Replaced the TB-4 in the Bridge position of my Tyler (which I think I might have sold on to you !) with a Catswhisker Classic 72 which to my ears is a massive improvement. I find discussing tone to be hellishly subjective but it seems a lot more open sounding and the string to string detail is retained much better when the gain is wound up..

I have a trembucker (based on a 72 Classic) that I had in my American Deluxe Strat, before I put it back to SSS configuration.  It worked very well in that, but it's surplus to requirement at the moment if anyone is interested.

They are good value and Allan is indeed a nice feller.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder

    My trading feedback  - I'm a good egg  ;)
